2015 GotY - Part 1

This year there are quite a few GotY contenders. I didn't get to play all the ones I wanted, though, as game prices are so high. It's crazy. I know it takes a lot to make them, but geez. Well, right off the bat we'll give a list of those games which have a chance, to me, of being the GotY. As usual, I only list games I've played, and games I think have what it takes. If you feel a game isn't on here that should be, make your own blog post about it.

I suppose we can tell what machine I've been gaming on the most this year. This is because a) my PC died in several ways, and it would cost a lot to put back together, and b) I'm enjoying my PS4, and don't really see a need for repairing my PC. Well then, let these contenders sit for a bit, and I'll be back later this week for an in depth going over.

Everything has been on Steam, except for Dragon Age: Inquisition, this week. I keep thinking that I want to switch on the PS3 or something, but then I never do. The games I want to play aren't on consoles right now, or they are, but I have them on Steam/Origin already. It will probably stay this way until I get a PS4. Also, in regards to the last post... Theatrhythm Final Fantasy: Curtain Call was the one removed.

Some Gaming Things

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt has completely taken me by surprise, and by storm. I've got 166 hours in it already, beaten Death March mode, and am working on a completionist play through, which is also my Do Everything Wrong play through. I knew it would be a good game, but I had no idea it'd be this good. It's easily made my top five favourite games of all time. Speaking of which, it currently looks like this:

But could change at any time. That being said, it rarely changes. What was it that was ejected off the list? Can you guess? I'll let you know next time I blog. As for other things I've been playing... well not too much. The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing III came out at some point, and I didn't notice, but installed it yesterday when I did notice. For some reason, though, my saves from the previous two games were there, so that was annoying, and I haven't played it since as I wanted to continue Aaron Van Helsing. I have to decide if I want to just start a new character, or start the series again.

I'm looking forward to two things coming up soon. Mostly, Devil May Cry 4 Special Edition comes out later this month. Pretty psyched about that. Also, Shadowrun: Hong Kong will come out soon, and that looks very good. It's even got a 'revamped' matrix so that should be great.
