Since SoE has decided to be down all day due to evil hackers, I'll do a small update. Things in EQ2 are going rather well. Enjoying it a lot more than I've enjoyed WoW in the past several months. Let's see everything I've been doing... working my way to 86 on my Carpenter now which is fantastic. When I hit 80 on Einherji, I decided it was time to start the Shadow Odyssey questing series, though, so off I went to Odus. It was going rather well until I ran into the Quel'Ule... they have some pretty dire visions of 'safe' crafting! At one point in a combination I missed a reactive and ended up blowing myself to bits with a Catastrophic Material Disintegration for 236, 466 damage.
That was a little painful and, needless to say, was a severe case of overkill. The rest of the questing went rather well and pretty quickly. The next highlight of that series was the large pandas called the Hua Mein, but I'll go into their awesomeness at a later time. After I completed that, I took Neithe to Kunark to gather some materials for my Alchemist and ran in to some old friends. I love the models they use for the drachnid in Kunark, but I would like to know first of all why the women have tits since spiders are born from eggs... also, how did the men get so ripped? 
Seriously, what is going on here. The day ended when I headed back to my 2nd home in Qeynos (since we can have multiple homes now) where the little Maltheas joined me and promptly proceeded to leap onto all my furniture!
